Oldham Athletics 115 year stay in the football league came to an end last season as they were relegated to the national league for the first time. This brought along riots and in-stadium protest towards owner Abdallah Lemsagam who has owned the club since 2018 and has been at the heart of their downfall. So Oldham will feature in the 5th tier of English football next season, but where did it all go wrong? How did Oldham go from a premier league club to 23rd in league two in 30 years?
