Swansea City and a host of other Championship clubs are working on a deal to sign Spurs midfielder Harvey White on loan, The Centre Spot understands.

Harvey White is a highly rated young, energetic box-to-box midfielder who loves to get forward. The 20-year-old posses a similar build to that of new acquisition Joe Allen. 

The youngster spent last season on loan at Portsmouth and put up some very good stats:

White has been involved with Conte’s pre season and had an impressive game against K-League All Stars. Swansea is the not the only club interested in the wonderkid with a plethora of EFL Clubs keeping their eye out. A final decision will be made on the midfielders future in the next days, with Conte looking to set up his squad perfectly ahead of what promises to be an exhausting season, competing in the Premier League, Champions League, Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. The club already have players occupying White’s role in the squad however with the likes of Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, Rodrigo Bentancur all part of the plans ahead of the new season. This will present more of an opportunity for EFL clubs to sign him provide a good amount of game time ahead of a possible bright future in North London.
