Spurs have made some amazing signings so far this window spending well over £100 million to help expand Conte’s options next season. However, it hasn’t just been the new signings that have been catching Spurs fans eyes in pre-season, it’s been Harry Kane.

Last summer there was noise occurring from Tottenham and Kane that it was almost certain Kane would be joining Man City as the future did not look good for Spurs, yet Kane stayed. Kane was not his normal self under Nuno and his individual performances resembled the whole club at this time, an utter mess. Things quickly changed due to the arrival of serial winner Antonio Conte as Kane started to find his feet again.

Since Conte has come in Kane has walked around with a smile on his face whilst also looking better physically this was shown as his performances in the back end of last season were utterly superb. His performances lifted the team, Kane was making players look better and was certainly a key reason to why Spurs finished inside the top 4.

During Antonio Conte’a brutal pre-season Kane is looking like he’s in his peak state and his performances have certainly been showing it. The Englishman has scored four goals in three matches. His goals haven’t been tap ins, he’s been smashing them in from outside the box and also scoring a free kick. Kane is heading into the new season with a completely different mindset compared to a year ago.

The England Captains future is being questioned again as reports are suggesting interest from Germany. Bayern Munich recently lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona and undoubtedly Kane is top of their list to replace him but Conte has described these rumours as “disrespectful” and Kane is very much an “important part of our project” the Spurs coach said after Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann made some comments on Harry Kane.

From a personal perspective I can’t see Kane leaving anytime soon. Conte and Kane both being happy is the ideal world for Spurs as the two are pivotal for Spurs if they want success. As long as Conte is kept happy from the backing of Levy and Paratici, Kane won’t be leaving anytime soon.

Kane will certainly live up to his extraordinary standards and Spurs fans could potentially see Kane’s most productive season yet.
