FC Barcelona And Chelsea FC’s Conflicting Transfer Targets have tarnished the Relationship between the two clubs.

With the Catalan side Hijacking Leeds winger Raphinha Belloli earlier this month and are set to see 23 year old French defender Jules Kounde follow a similar path.

Chelsea look set to cut all relations with the Catalan Giants and refuse to negotiate any sort of Transfers.

Chelsea have made the decision to block the transfers of Barcelona targets Azpilecueta and Alonso at all costs. However allowing the pair to leave any other team.

Chelsea will accept FC Barcelona’s Offer for the players, Only if it’s a very important and high valued Offer.

CFC were open to let Azpilicueta leave for €3M, but now are demanding €10M.

Chelsea were supposedly looking to hijack Manchester United Target Frenkie De Jong. But have planned not to exercise the option.

Thomas Tuchel is very irritated. Evident from the remarks made a few days before.

Brentford have announced the signing of defender Ben Mee after the former Burnley captain’s contract expired this summer.

The 32-year-old has kindly donated money to a carbon emissions charity following his transfer to Thomas Frank’s compassionate side. Mee has signed a 2-year-deal with Brentford as he hopes to powerfully reinforce their defence and provide experience to one of the youngest sides in the Premier League.

Mee is currently the most experienced player at Brentford being 32 years old. Fellow defender, Ethan Pinnock picked up a knee injury he picked up in training. Although Brentford might be in the market for another fierce defender as they are limited in options at the back as Norwegian, Kristoffer Ajer will miss Brentford’s match against Leicester as he’s still recuperating from a hamstring injury.

Manager, Thomas Frank was questioned about his thoughts on the signing: “I am very happy we have signed Ben. He will add a lot of quality and experience to the squad. He had six good years for Burnley in the Premier League. I really love his defensive mindset; he knows how to defend the box, he knows how to block a shot and he knows how to win duels.”

Brentford will most likely feature both Ben Mee and Pontus Jansson as their centre-back pairing at the start of the season due to other defenders being unavailable.

Mee has featured in over 200 Premier League games, so this is undoubtedly a smart signing by Brentford.

Spurs have made some amazing signings so far this window spending well over £100 million to help expand Conte’s options next season. However, it hasn’t just been the new signings that have been catching Spurs fans eyes in pre-season, it’s been Harry Kane.

Last summer there was noise occurring from Tottenham and Kane that it was almost certain Kane would be joining Man City as the future did not look good for Spurs, yet Kane stayed. Kane was not his normal self under Nuno and his individual performances resembled the whole club at this time, an utter mess. Things quickly changed due to the arrival of serial winner Antonio Conte as Kane started to find his feet again.

Since Conte has come in Kane has walked around with a smile on his face whilst also looking better physically this was shown as his performances in the back end of last season were utterly superb. His performances lifted the team, Kane was making players look better and was certainly a key reason to why Spurs finished inside the top 4.

During Antonio Conte’a brutal pre-season Kane is looking like he’s in his peak state and his performances have certainly been showing it. The Englishman has scored four goals in three matches. His goals haven’t been tap ins, he’s been smashing them in from outside the box and also scoring a free kick. Kane is heading into the new season with a completely different mindset compared to a year ago.

The England Captains future is being questioned again as reports are suggesting interest from Germany. Bayern Munich recently lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona and undoubtedly Kane is top of their list to replace him but Conte has described these rumours as “disrespectful” and Kane is very much an “important part of our project” the Spurs coach said after Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann made some comments on Harry Kane.

From a personal perspective I can’t see Kane leaving anytime soon. Conte and Kane both being happy is the ideal world for Spurs as the two are pivotal for Spurs if they want success. As long as Conte is kept happy from the backing of Levy and Paratici, Kane won’t be leaving anytime soon.

Kane will certainly live up to his extraordinary standards and Spurs fans could potentially see Kane’s most productive season yet.

Zaniolo is 23 years old and is regarded as one of the best young talents in Italy but his progress has been halted recently due to two ACL injuries but recently the young Italian has been fit and firing for Mourinho’s Roma.

Conte, Paratici and Levy have been searching for a young attacking minded midfielder who can provide plenty of goal threat and Zaniolo is a great example of this. Zaniolo brings strength, speed and composure in the final third, a perfect balance.

Zaniolo had his first season back last season since his second ACL injury and got 17 goals/assists which is pushing towards the numbers he was getting before his injuries which is an amazing sign. Zaniolo was operated on his ACL by the same doctor who operated on Serial winner and Italian captain Giorgio Chiellini and is regarded as the ‘best around’ as the Italian captain has had nothing wrong his ACL after his successful operation.

Zaniolo put on a show in the UEFA Conference League Final scoring the decisive goal to bring glory to Rome. He played with elegance and composure and certainly caught my eye.

Zaniolo has the ability to play as a ’10’ or play on the right, this would bring excellent flexibility to Conte’s attackers. Zaniolo is definitely a Conte player as he is a ‘physical freak’ he’s unplayable his desire and work rate set him above others. But his two major injuries are certainly and issue. Zaniolo is certainly a player who I’d love to see at Tottenham next season and could become the missing piece to Tottenham’s puzzle.

Now, the choice may lie with Tottenham, will they push for James Maddison or Nicolo Zaniolo?

Manchester City are set to open official discussions with Brighton over the Spaniard, Marc Cucurella.

With Ukrainian, Oleksandr Zinchenko on his way out of Pep Guardiola‘s side Manchester City have already opened talks to adopt a replacement.

Manchester City are currently £20m off of Brighton‘s asking price, which is around £50-55m. Cucurella has been a priority for Pep Guardiola this window, they admire him. Cucurella, in Pep’s opinion, will realistically be the ideal fit for City’s ethic.

Manchester City and Cucurella‘s representatives have almost reached an agreement on personal terms. The La Masia graduate and ex-Barcelona player wants the move to go through.

Manchester City are certainly improving their squad depth as The Citizens aim to win the Champions League this year after years of coming close to the club championship of Europe.

Cucurella, if he were to sign for last season‘s Premier League winners, might not start if Pep is genuinely wanting to efficiently utilize Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker.

Manchester City will certainly be up against competition from Liverpool again this season for the Premier League and they have been preparing for that. So far this window the Citizens have welcomed Stefan Ortega as a backup keeper, Julián Álvarez to bring some firepower up top, Kalvin Phillips from Leeds and arguably the biggest signing of the window Erling Haaland.

Haaland and Julián Álvarez are the only two signings that I can see being featured a ton throughout the season, the other two will most likely be played in games that aren’t that important or they’ll be used in games against mid-table sides.

Cucurella ended last season with the most ball recoveries (247), he was also joint 2nd behind Tyrick Mitchell for most tackles made by defenders (93), and 2nd only to Trent Alexander-Arnold for chances created by defenders from open play last season. (40)

Cucurella sits eighth in the Premier League for accurate final third passes performed last season (531), one of several signs of his outstanding talent at selecting the optimal pass during an offence. Joao Cancelo (847) won this metric in comparison. Therefore, Cucurella ought to hypothetically mix in well at the Etihad.

Arsenal have completed the signing of Manchester City full-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Mikel Arteta‘s side have agreed a deal with Manchester City to bring Oleksandr Zinchenko to London this summer. The fee is around £30M, and the signing is set to be completed by the end of the week. Zinchenko is eager to work with Arteta after Arteta coached Zinchenko during his time at Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus, who recently joined Arsenal from Manchester City has reportedly managed to persuade Zinchenko to join the Gunners.

After Arsenal missed out on Lisandro Martinez, the Ukrainian would be undoubtedly an excellent option as he’s extremely versatile. Zinchenko features in an attacking midfield role for the Ukraine national team. However, Zinchenko does typically play as a full-back for Pep Guardiola‘s side.

If the Gunners were to use Zinchenko at full-back, the 25-year-old might want reassurance from Arteta that he‘ll get to feature throughout the season. With Nuno Tavares set to be loaned out for the seasonZinchenko will certainly be a part of the team.

James Maddison has been one of the most underrated players in the Premier League of the last few years as he has consistently produced good numbers. Tottenham have been struggling with home grown numbers and also need a attacking midfielder who can produce moments of magic whilst being able to break down lower block teams.

Maddison has been a stand out performer over several years for the foxes after his move from Norwich. Maddison is know for his pin-point shot accuracy and precise set pieces making him the ideal signing for Spurs.

But how will Maddison fit in into Contes side?

Conte is known for his 3-4-3 formation which does not involve an attacking midfielder. However, last season Spurs found it extremely difficult to break down teams who parked the bus. This cost Spurs a lot of points. With Maddison Spurs can shift to a 3-4-1-2 with Maddison having a free role behind two of the Spurs attackers. These is key for Spurs next season as it will bring them different plans and make it harder for teams to understand what’s going to happen.

James Maddison’s price will certainly be high due to him being homegrown, Premier League proven and Leicesters star player. But, Harry Winks has been attracting interest from Leicester over the past weeks with Youri Tielemans looking to be heading out elsewhere this summer meaning Winks could be heading towards the Foxes. This would be superb for Spurs as it would decrease the price giving Conte’s side more wiggle room incase a good opportunity occurs later on in the window.

Maddison would certainly be a superb addition for Tottenham and a big statement signing as he is not guaranteed to start but it’s the new look Spurs, the Spurs Tottenham fans are starting to adore.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Napoli SSC defender, Kalidou Koulibaly after signing Raheem Sterling yesterday. The Blues have reached an agreement to sign the 31-year-old from Napoli for €40m (including add-ons and bonuses). The Senegalese international has signed a 5-year-deal with Thomas Tuchel’s side, his contract will expire on the 30th of June 2027. Koulibaly will €10M per season, Chelsea will now attempt to sign another defender to be paired with Koulibaly!

Some players who have caught the eyes of Chelsea’s representatives are Nathan Ake and Presnel Kimpembe. Despite reports of Chelsea wanting to sign Dutchman, Matthijs de Ligt the likely case is that he’ll sign for Bayern Munich. Chelsea are planning to start talks with PSG over a possible move which will see Kimpembe join the Blues for around €50M… The announcement from Chelsea will be in the coming days.

Koulibaly would fit in well at Chelsea, he would meet with some of his former teammate, Jorginho and his current international teammate, Edouard Mendy. His play style will certainly suit Thomas Tuchel’s current system. Koulibaly can hold up the ball well and is a great passer, he will be a great member of Chelsea’s back five. Koulibaly’s transfer won’t be the last signing that Chelsea make this window whilst being in talks for both Presnel Kimpembe of PSG and former player Nathan Ake at Manchester City.
